The interior instantly immersed me in a fairytale atmosphere reminiscent of my own beloved colonial bungalows back in Sri Lanka, showcasing the owners' dedication to preserving its historic elegance. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the Lenné Restaurant, where the fine international cuisine paired with the cozy ambiance of the classical décor and fireplace made for a perfect evening. The next morning, the terrace offered a captivating garden view stretching into the enchanting woods, which felt like a magical extension of our own tea gardens. Although a hike to Rützenfelder See was recommended, I opted to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere instead, proving that sometimes, simply unwinding in beauty is the ultimate luxury. If you're seeking a getaway in charming surroundings with delightful cuisine, this hotel should be on your radar!
